Attending Shujin Academy in Persona 5 Royal is more than just a background setting for the Phantom Thieves' adventures. Daily life requires balancing metaverse explorations with academic responsibilities, making pop quizzes and exams a recurring feature. Answering these pop questions correctly offers immediate stat growth, which translates directly into better confidant progression throughout the campaign.
The Value of Answering Classroom Questions
Every time Joker correctly responds to a teacher's pop question, he earns points toward his Knowledge social stat. Raising Knowledge is essential because higher levels are mandatory to initiate or advance specific confidant storylines. Additionally, solid academic performance ensures you place near the top during midterms and finals, yielding even greater rewards.
Types of Academic Challenges in Persona 5 Royal
Classroom interactions fall into distinct categories, ranging from basic daily questions to complex multi-part prompts. Teachers often test students on historical figures like Minamoto no Yoshitsune, linguistic roots like synaesthesia, or classical literature. Exam weeks compile these concepts into multi-day assessments that require careful preparation.
Exam Rewards and Sojiro's Recognition
Scoring in the top percentage of your class provides tangible bonuses that extend beyond simple stat gains. Returning home after exam results are posted allows Joker to speak with Sojiro Sakura to receive unique accessories. High scores also provide a permanent multiplier to social stat increases when spending time with school-based confidants.
Strategies for Maximizing Social Stats
To consistently hit high marks on exams, players should prioritize raising Knowledge early in the semester. Solving evening crossword puzzles at Cafe Leblanc and studying at the diner on rainy days provide efficient stat boosts. Combining these routine activities with accurate classroom answers creates a steady path toward maxing out all social stats.
